How Can chronic Upper Abdominal Pain Be Treated?

I am having a chronic pain in right upper abdomen radiating to back, Trapped gas, and acidity. this happens every 30-50 days. Problem stays for 2-3 days and suddenly disappears. Sonogrpahy reports are normal. My family physician says its an ulcer. He prescribed ranitidine. But problem reoccurs again and again

hi! this may due to stress also. it may due to irregularities in sleep. change your life style. regular your sleep time, meal, avoid spicy food, fried food. if severe pain you can take pantoprazole (40 mg). follow this advice for 2-3months. then consult me. thank you. regards.
